Every time I have been in the shop I have gotten a great haircut. But it's not just that, it's the amazing atmosphere. They treat you like family every time you walk in. They know their craft better than anyone in the area. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get a perfect cut.

These guys are awesome. I was in Albany after a week in Cooperstown and didn't bring any of my shaving equipment. Walked in to Patsy's and waited for a bit until they could fit me in. Listening to how they treat their regulars I'd say they act like family. Being new they were no different with me. Awesome place for sure.

Classic down to earth with an amazing staff. Everyone is treated with respect and made to feel like family. Definitely found my go to shop.

This barber shop is a gem in the Capital Region. The barbers are all artist, who shape and mold your hair to perfection. They are disciplined to make sure you leave with a quality product. Rarely have I had them touch up my hair after the initial haircut. The shop has an "old school" setup, and when they use the straight razor you feel like warped into a different era. I've been coming here for years and will continue to come for years to pass.

Best barber shop in the Capital Region. Period. I've been going to Patsy's for a couple years now and I can't say enough good about the place. The barbers are excellent. The atmosphere is great. I really can't say enough about how great Patsy's is.

All original furnishings! A classy looking place, in the heart of downtown Albany. They do take appointments, but had a spare barber for walk ins no waiting for me!  Hot towel and neck shave - nice.

Absolutely THE BEST barber shop in Albany. Kept classic and simple. I am very very particular in getting a good hair cut. Patsys is the best. Ive been a regular for over 5 years and I would NEVER go anywhere else.

Had a family gathering upstate and was told this was the coolest shop in Albany . Well they did not disappoint. I had a real barber experience and had VIP treatment from the staff. It's nice not to know someone in an establishment when you walk in and leave feeling like you have a friend. I recommend this place to anyone in the area or traveling. A 5 star establishment and a great service provided. I'll be back next trip upstate for sure!!

This barber shop treats you with respect from the minute you walk in to the minute you walk out. The barbers are very professional here and make sure you get the hair cut you want. What is nice about this location is the hours of operation they are open past 5pm. This is great for the people that work Monday to Friday that get out of work at 4pm. They have a place to go and get a great hair cut. The shop is very clean and it is the old style of barbershop which is great. You do not have to have an appointment to get your hair cut here. The wait for a walk in sometimes is a little wait but not anything that is very long at all. Give it a try next time you need a hair cut.

Don't waste your time searching for another barber shop in a 100 mile radius from Albany, besides Patsy's. These guys are the best around. Its great I finally found another shop that takes pride in tradition and quality service like Patsy's does. These guys know their stuff too. I love rocking the old vintage haircut and where I live in upstate NY barbers don't know what to do when you ask them for that old school look. Besides my style haircut I've seen plenty of other styles people have walked out with, and always a happy customer. If you value a good cut and quality service from guys who really love their job, don't be like me and suffer multiple bad haircuts looking for a place like this.

High end Old fashioned gentleman feel. The atmosphere was worth the price alone. The haircut being as great as it could be for a mess like mine was the cherry on top. I’ll be back for sure.

It took me a while to find the right barber in Albany. I'd been through several shops being that I have a tough head of hair to cut with the large cowlicks I have in the back. Patsys is the only place I go these days.  Just yesterday I sat down for a cut and a hot towel shave after running on very little sleep for about a week.  The relaxation and rejuvenation I got from the experience helped set me up for success for the rest of the day.  Nothing makes a man feel like a man quite like a great hot towel shave and cut in a classic men's barber shop.
